Newtown
This home displays classic historic elegance and charm. Michael was consulted about giving this house a fresh new look without losing any of its historic charm.
The finished product does just that. As with all of Michael’s projects, in a home proper preparation and the finest materials resulted in an home with historic charm as demonstrated in the pictures. Walking into this house gives you the feel of an older, laid back era.
The Jane Store
Michael Emro was hired to give this store the aesthetic appeal that it is known to portray. The blue colors are comforting and soothing. Michael believes that the choice and planning of colors is as important as the prep work and the final paint job.

Province Line
Michael Emro was hired to give this house a complete facelift and restore it’s natural beauty. Michael is adamant about properly preparing the surface before the paint or finish is applied. There are no short-cuts here! When the surface is properly prepared, the finish will not only look flawless but will withstand the test of time.
The exterior of this house was stripped down to bare wood, primed and finished with two coast of stain. It is evident in this gallery, that Michael’s work is professional and the results are worthy of display in a fine magazine.
Prospect House
Michael Emro was hired to bring back to this historic home the prestige that its architects designed. Michael installed metal leafing and faux finished it with glaze. Michael also restored the “graining” on the unique faux finished wood paneling. He then painted the walls with a vintage detail that reflects the period.
This former home of Woodrow Wilson is breathtaking to say the least. The pictures are beautiful but to be appreciated to the full extent, this masterpiece must be seen in person.
The Blue Door
This house was stripped down to bare wood. Once the preparation was completed, the wood was treated to a prime base coat and two top coats. This treatment results in a finish that looks like new construction rather than a repainted house. Currently, the rear porch and one side are completed.
Modern Kitchen
Michael Emro was hired to make this kitchen beautiful and he did it without replacing the cabinets. These solid oak cabinets were meticulously stripped, primed and painted. All the woodwork was stripped, primed and painted. This kitchen’s white cabinets with black hardware present a look that is simply elegant.
As with many of these projects, the work is even more exquisite in person. The attention to detail is really the focus of Michael’s work.
